Daily decisions are often what people use to define us. Sometimes this is a good thing. When we wake up happy and feel well rested we tend to make good decisions and people view us in a good light. However, other times when we aren't quite at our best, we often are short tempered and make lousy decisions. These are the moments we look at ourselves and hope that no one was watching. It is important to remember someone is always watching. God see our every move, no matter how small. If you are under the impression that your "lousy" moment went unnoticed you couldn't be more wrong. But - isn't it comforting to know that God doesn't judge you only on that moment, but that He looks at your heart. There are days that I fall VERY short and if those were the defining moments of my life - I'd be up the creek without a paddle as they say. However, this isn't at all the case. One day, Jesus took the beating that should have been mine, He took the nails that were punishment for my sins, He died that I could live. This is the truth. The day that I asked Him for forgiveness and accepted His gift of salvation I began to walk a new path. My past was erased from His memory (the only one that counts) and I was set FREE! Admit your failures, own the fact that you aren't perfect. Love yourself as you are and before long others will follow suit. Learn and grow...that is the way of a Christian. We aren't born perfect, we don't die perfect, but we strive for perfection everyday. Take some time and reflect on your life. What will people recall as your defining moment? More importantly - what will God see your defining moment as when you
